Beyond his research contributions, he actively engages in various roles within the academic community. He has served as a Member in Technical Committee, Advisory Board, Editorial Board Member, Reviewer, Faculty Selection Committee, Question Paper Setter, External Examiner, Observer in National Testing Agency, Session Chair, Chief Guest Speaker, etc. He also guided and awarded four Ph.D under his guidance and Received Two Best Paper Award in the International Conference paper presentation and visited abroad.

Ravinder Saini is an academician, researcher, and teacher educator based in Haryana, India, specializing in Special Education (Intellectual Disability), Inclusive Education, Educational Technology, and Disability Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Education and is UGC-NET qualified, alongside an M.Ed. (Special Education) in Intellectual Disability from Panjab University, Chandigarh, and a B.Ed. (Special Education) from M.D.U. Rohtak. Since March 2021, he has been affiliated with SGT University, Gurugram, having earlier served at Tapovan College of Special Education and Research, Shri Ganganagar, Rajasthan (2018–2021). Ravinder has an extensive research portfolio, with over a dozen journal articles and more than 20 book chapters covering themes such as inclusive pedagogy, assistive technology, ICT integration in special education, and disability rights.
