Services and scope
The platform may provide manuscript intake, editorial workflow management, review coordination, production support, metadata dissemination, public hosting, certificate generation, and related publishing services depending on the active journal configuration.
Billing and payment
Where APCs or related charges apply, invoices are generally issued after acceptance unless a specific service states otherwise. Payment methods, accepted currencies, waiver review, and applicable taxes may vary by journal and payer location.
Intellectual property
Authors retain responsibility for ensuring they have the right to submit and license all included material. Platform branding, software interfaces, and administrative resources remain protected under applicable intellectual property law.
Communications and records
Editorial messages, invoices, notices, and workflow notifications may be delivered electronically and may form part of the official record of a submission, review, or publication process.
Suspension and termination
Access or services may be suspended where there is suspected abuse, unpaid obligations, security risk, policy breach, or legal necessity. Suspension of access does not necessarily remove publication or record-keeping responsibilities already in progress.
Complaints and disputes
Operational or billing complaints should be raised through the contact channels provided by the platform or journal. Editorial appeals and ethics complaints follow separate policy procedures and may require additional documentary review.
Policy updates
These conditions may be revised to reflect operational, legal, or service changes. The latest published version supersedes prior versions unless a specific transaction states otherwise.
