Architect Md. Mahamudur Rahman Papon is a multi-faceted professional who specializes in eco-friendly architectural design, environmental sustainability, disaster management, policy analysis, and strategic management. Serving as the Chief, Department of Environmental Design & Research at Eco Design Consultants Bangladesh (EDCBD), Ar. Papon combines expertise in architecture with a passion for Built Environment. Achieved two postgraduate degrees - MS in Environmental Science from the State University of Bangladesh and MS in Disaster Management from Dhaka University - Ar. Papon has built a strong foundation for practical and research-based solutions. In addition, Ar. Papon has completed postgraduate training in Policy Analysis and Strategic Management at BIGM under the SEIP project. A dedicated researcher, Papon has extensive experience in the architecture, environment, and disaster management sectors, providing valuable insights into these important areas. Currently, Mahamudur Rahman is successfully working as a reviewer for several international journals. Additionally, He is serving as the General Secretary of the Institute of Environmentalists, Bangladesh (BIE).
