Ts. Dr. Muhammad Ammirrul Atiqi Mohd Zainuri is a distinguished academic and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Systems Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). A proud alumnus of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), he completed his Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering there, building a robust foundation in electrical power systems. As a registered Professional Technologist (Ts.) and a Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, Dr. Ammirrul actively bridges the gap between theoretical research and practical engineering. His core expertise lies at the intersection of renewable energy, power quality, and artificial intelligence. He is highly regarded for his innovative research in solar photovoltaic optimization, specifically developing advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms and Agrivoltaic systems. Furthermore, his work extensively covers the use of Shunt Active Power Filters to mitigate grid harmonic disruptions and the integration of sophisticated AI models, such as fuzzy logic and neural networks, to optimize decentralized energy markets and medical diagnostics. An active researcher affiliated with advanced centers like ALPER and UMPEDAC, Dr. Ammirrul has authored over sixty scholarly publications that have significantly advanced the field of smart grids and power electronics.
